Participation on one of DAYL’s Committee provides an opportunity to not only meet other young lawyers in Dallas, but also to make a difference in the community. DAYL has divided its committees into three groups: Service to the Bar,
Service to the Community, and
Service to Children. The Service to the Bar Group is then divided into two sub–groups:
Service to the Bar — Personal and
Service to the Bar — Professional.
The time commitment on most DAYL Committees is very manageable (often less than 10 hours a year), and most committees meet conveniently at lunch or after work. To view the list of committees, just click on the group that most interests you, whether it is Service to the Bar — Personal, Service to the Bar — Professional, Service to the Community, or Service to Children. Then, to sign up for a committee, you can either contact the co–chairs of the committee directly or visit the
committee sign up page.
