The Judicial Intern Committee assists law students seeking practical legal experience by matching them with judges for summer internships. The Program has attracted student applicants from across the country, including Arkansas, D.C., Kansas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Texas. The program provides a great opportunity to get “real world” legal experience as well as a chance to meet and work closely with local judges.
Last year, more than 60 students accepted intern positions in Dallas County’s various civil, criminal, appellate and probate courts. The Committee solicits applications from students in January/February of each year for placement that summer. An application can be found here.
