Mentor Match is a DAYL project designed to pair experienced attorneys in a variety of fields with less experienced attorneys in need of mentoring.

Any DAYL member may sign up to become a mentee on the Mentor Match website. Mentees may search a database of accomplished attorneys in the greater Dallas metroplex, customizing their searches according a number of criteria, including practice area, years of practice, firm size, age, and other considerations. Once a mentee finds a mentor who matches the desired criteria, that mentee may request a match. A mentor who accepts will provide just the sort of advice that the mentee needs.

Past and present DAYL leaders have capitalized on their peer networks in order to identify willing mentor attorneys at the top of their respective fields. These outstanding lawyers want to offer guidance, support, and insight to our Bar’s emerging practitioners. Participating mentors will consult on practicing, rainmaking, balancing work with personal life, and everything else affecting attorneys immersed in the exciting challenge of practicing law.
