The DAYL Outstanding Young Lawyer Award is awarded to a Dallas young lawyer who is licensed twelve years or less at the beginning of each year (January 1). Outstanding Mentor Award
The DAYL Outstanding Mentor Award is awarded to a lawyer in Dallas who has consistently demonstrated a commitment to mentoring young lawyers in his or her legal community. Liberty Bell Award
The Liberty Bell Award recognizes an outstanding non-lawyer of any age who has made a selfless contribution to the community by strengthening the effectiveness of the American system of justice and by instilling a better understanding and appreciation of the law. Young Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award
The DAYL’s Young Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award recognizes the public service or legal aid performed by an individual young lawyer who in the previous year has provided outstanding contributions and access to justice to those in need of legal services. The 2023 DAYL Young Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award deadline is May 19.
