The 2021 DAYL Trial Skills Boot Camp will focus on making closing arguments to the jury. This year’s Boot Camp will include a panel discussion and mock closing-argument presentation by some of Dallas’s preeminent trial attorneys. Following the panel discussion and closing-argument presentations, participants will have the opportunity to give their own mock closing in a virtual experiential learning session. The experiential learning component is always the highlight of each year’s program and provides young lawyers the opportunity to draft and present a specific trial skill to judges and experienced litigators and then receive constructive feedback.  Although participation in the experiential learning portion of the Trial Skills Boot Camp is not required to attend the panel discussion, participation is nonetheless encouraged by the judges and experienced litigators who attend to share their knowledge with young lawyers.
