Freedom Run Committee
The Freedom Run Committee organizes The Freedom Run, a 5K run and one mile walk, which raises money for the Dallas Police Association Assist the Officer Foundation and recognizes and remembers first responders and those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The first Freedom Run was organized by the 2001 Leadership Class shortly after the 9/11 attacks and continues this day. Visit Freedom Run for information and to register.
Meetings
The Freedom Run Committee typically meets on the last Wednesday of the month, January – September, at 6:00 p.m. in person or by conference call. DAYL members can sign up to receive emails and correspondence about the Freedom Run Committee by clicking here.
