On Thursday, January 23, 2020, the Aid to the Homeless Committee participated in the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance Point in Time Homeless Count. A2H deployed seven vehicles to seven different neighborhoods in Dallas and assisted with the efforts to count our Dallas neighbors experiencing homelessness. The data collected will help provide federal funding for the city of Dallas to make homelessness in the city rare, brief, and nonrecurring. A2H also handed out over 50 care packages to help interviewees get through the night.
