The 2019 DAYL Dinner with the Judiciary includes an impressive panel including the Honorable David Horan, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Honorable Tonya Parker, 116th Civil District Court. Additional panelists are being confirmed. Sara Romine of Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP will moderate.
The Dinner will feature a one-hour CLE presentation on ethical issues that arise with discovery becoming increasingly complex in light of technological advances, the ubiquity of social media and other new ways to communicate electronically, and the vast amount of electronic data accumulating in businesses as well as in people’s personal lives.
Attendees can expect an insightful and entertaining presentation that includes the panelists’ experiences with these issues and practice tips for handling discovery issues with both efficiency and care to serve clients’ needs and avoid ethical pitfalls. All Dallas judges have been invited to attend the event, so attendees can also expect an opportunity to meet and network with local judges.
