Aid to the Homeless Committee
The Aid to the Homeless Committee assists Dallas’s homeless community through initiatives such as a Winter Coat and Sock Drive, volunteering to serve lunch or make sandwiches, hosting children’s birthday parties with the Birthday Party Project, and volunteering at the annual Point in Time Homeless Count, among other service events. The Committee also hosts supply and fundraising drives to provide needed resources for the Dallas homeless community.
Meetings & Upcoming Events
The committee meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00pm. Please email one of the contacts listed below to learn about the next committee meeting or how to get involved.

State of Homelessness Address 2021
The Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) held its annual State of Homelessness Address on May 11, 2021. The Address examines the results of the COVID-19 Homeless Count, analysis of these results, actions taken by the homeless rehousing system, and next steps to make homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties rare, brief, and nonrecurring.
