Carling Nguyen is March`s One To Watch! In addition to her duties as co-chair of Generation Generosity, she is a volunteer at Scottish Rite. Stay tuned – she is working on a collaborative event with Generation Generosity and Scottish Rite. There will also be an event to help clean up White Rock Lake.

She now works for Wolf & Henderson PC, a litigation firm. She focuses mostly commercial litigation. Straight from college, she worked for a year in Houston as a project assistant in the international arbitration group for Fulbright and Jaworski (now known as Norton Rose Fulbright).

Although she was born and raised in Houston, TX, she has some roots in Dallas now having graduated from SMU Law in 2011. Carling graduated from Stanford University for undergrad and remains a Cardinal fan. She played club tennis during college. During her four years in college, she wrote for the Stanford Daily and covered sports, having written over 100 articles.

You can find her at White Rock Lake whether she is biking, running, or doing practically anything that involves outdoor activities, with her fiance who has also participated with Generation Generosity. One of her life goals is to compete in a triathlon.

Since graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law, she has been involved with DAYL with the mindset of changing the perception of attorneys by giving back to the community. Thank you Carling for your continued devotion to DAYL and the community!
