Jay is a third-year litigator at Lee & Braziel, LLP where he represents employees in individual and collective actions brought nationally in federal courts under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Jay grew up in Dallas and attended SMU’s Dedman School of Law. He became interested in law school after participating in high school debate. Did you know that he was Texas State policy debate champ as a sophomore and was nationally-ranked by his senior year?
Jay has stepped-up quickly with DAYL and is a member of the current year’s Leadership Class. He is also a Co-Chair of YELL (Young Employment Labor Lawyers) and presented at an event on mental health issues hosted by the Wellness committee. In addition to his involvement with DAYL, he also serves as the Treasurer for Mosaic Family Services and is a board member for the local chapter of the American Constitution Society.
