According to John Quincy Adams, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Stephanie Almeter exemplifies these qualities of leadership in all that she does through community involvement and a strong work ethic, which has earned her this month’s One to Watch.
Stephanie decided to become a lawyer due to the dynamic work environment and challenging nature of crafting arguments for clients in need. She attended Texas A&M University, where she majored in Political Science and went on to earn her law degree from Baylor University. While at Baylor, Stephanie competed on various moot court and client counseling teams and earned the distinguished honor of being admitted into the “Order of the Barristers.”
After graduating from law school, Stephanie began working at McCathern, PLLC in August 2011, with a focus in civil litigation. She took the legal community by storm and was quickly named a 2014 Rising Star and was also featured in a Texas A&M Foundation article, entitled “Raising the Bar.”
Not only is Stephanie hardworking and ambitious, but she also realizes the importance of giving back to her community. She participates in the annual BvB Dallas philanthropic flag football event, which raises funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. She is also very involved in DAYL, and is a member of the 2014 Leadership Class.
