Big jobs often go to those who prove their ability to outgrow the small jobs. Elizabeth “BB” Sanford has volunteered within the ranks of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, helping our organization on the Social Committee and Charity Ball Committee. She has volunteered at the past three Charity Balls and has become a vital member of the Charity Ball team this year, assisting with marketing. BB also is heavily involved in the Social Committee, where she helps plan the monthly gatherings for our members and coordinate the planning meetings.

BB is willing to step in and help lead a committee, but she is also willing to handle tasks that others may not be willing to do. This is what makes her a great future leader – the ability to get in the trenches and take on whatever jobs are needed. This is why she is this month’s One to Watch.

BB is originally from the Dallas area and earned her undergraduate and law degree from Baylor University. While in law school, she competed in several mock trial and moot court teams. She also won the interscholastic Mock Trial “Mad Dog” award in 2016. During law school, she clerked for Judge Hoffman and became involved with the DAYL. She currently works at Eberstein Witherite as a personal injury attorney. We know that BB is one one of DAYL’s emerging stars and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
